A lot has changed since the last time I have written on here. Awhile ago, I decided to take a break from RF, from the content, from the socials and algorithms. I found myself like 90% of people on social media making content, and as time went on, I began to realize that I did not want to make content. I did not know what I wanted, I never questioned that I wanted to put something out into the world that may be useful to some of you passing by, but I also knew that much of what we see online and social media is marketing or has some type or agenda. I never got into this because I wanted something from the readers. I got into this because I know what it is like to feel like you may be out of answers or like the world has closed you out. It's absurd to me, that we are more connected that we have ever been, and yet- so distant from one another.
When I stepped away, I was able to see more clearly that I found myself creating content, and not writing. This bothered me, as I never wanted to market any of what I do here.
The time I intended to take away from Relentless Fortitude (RF) kept diluting and the more I stayed away from it, I realized I was doing this in a way I was not happy with. It took some time to find the right words and put that into a sense of direction. I started RF back in 2018, I was in my second year of college, and I was looking for a way to reach people and help them. In a lot of ways, walking away felt like I was saying to myself that maybe this wasn't right for me because of where it was heading. The more time that went on, I realized that RF was and still is something that I care about. Those of you who take the time to read these lines. It means a lot. Thank you. As we move forward, I will be writing to write, pour my thoughts, and hopefully help you in some way.
To a new era.
